Review Your Class Schedule - Summer Semester 2025-26

You are receiving this email message because you are registered for first summer session and/or full summer semester 2025-26 classes at Ohio University. Please check MyOHIO Student Center or Go OHIO to review your class schedule, including important deadline dates.

If you are not attending Ohio University this first summer session or full summer semester and are still enrolled for classes, please contact your academic college or student services office.

The deadline dates listed later in this message are for classes that meet the standard start and end dates for first summer session and full summer semester. In the summer, many classes have dates and deadlines different from the standard dates, so it is important to check the add/drop/withdraw dates for each course you are registered to take. These dates will vary on a class-by-class basis and might be different from those listed below.

To find specific deadline dates, such as the last day to drop or last day to withdraw, select the calendar icon in your weekly schedule in MyOHIO Student Center. Deadlines are 5:00 p.m. Eastern on the date indicated unless otherwise noted. However, online transactions may be processed beyond 5:00 p.m. Eastern if the system is available.

Upcoming Academic Calendar dates for first summer session (class-specific deadlines are for classes that meet 5/11/26– 6/27/26):

• Sunday, May 10, 2026, is the last day to cancel registration for first summer session (remove all courses and fees).
• Monday, May 11, 2026, is the first day of classes.
• Friday, May 15, 2026:
  • Last day to register for first summer session. Note: Students who are in attendance by this date but fail to complete any registration procedures must pay a $150.00 penalty for retroactive registration correction.
  • Last day to add a first summer session class
  • Last day to apply for or change a grading option for first summer session class (credit to audit, audit to credit, pass/fail to regular grade option, or regular grade option to pass/fail).
  • Last day to receive partial fee adjustment (80%) of registration fees for complete withdrawal from the University for first summer session (all first summer session courses removed from the student’s record)
  • Last day to remove (drop) a first summer session class from student’s academic record with possible fee adjustment. Note: From May 16 – June 12, students may withdraw from one or more first summer session classes, but the course will remain on student’s academic record with a withdrawn grade and no fee adjustment.
  • Last day to opt out of Digital Course Materials for first summer session (remove digital content fees associated with Inclusive Access).

Upcoming Academic Calendar dates for full summer semester classes (class-specific deadlines are for classes that meet 5/11/26 – 8/15/26):

• Sunday, May 10, 2026, is the last day to cancel registration for full summer semester (remove all courses and fees).
• Monday, May 11, 2026, is the first day of classes.
• Friday, May 15, 2026, is the last day to add a full summer semester class without instructor’s approval.
• Friday, May 22, 2026:
  • Last day to add a full summer semester class (instructor’s permission required)
  • Last day to register for full summer semester. Note: Students who are in attendance by this date but fail to complete any registration procedures must pay a $150.00 penalty for retroactive registration correction.
  • Last day to apply for or change a grading option for full summer semester class (credit to audit, audit to credit, pass/fail to regular grade option, or regular grade option to pass/fail).
  • Last day to receive partial fee adjustment (80%) of registration fees for complete withdrawal from the University for full summer semester (all full summer session courses removed from the student’s record)
  • Last day to remove (drop) a full summer semester class from student’s academic record with possible fee adjustment. Note: From May 23 – July 17 students may withdraw from one or more full summer semester classes, but the course will remain on student’s academic record with a withdrawn grade and no fee adjustment.
